AEW Star Extends Invite To Current Champion
One AEW star wants to open the forbidden door.
At AEW All In, Saraya got her first taste of championship gold since becoming All Elite. In front of a record-setting crowd in her home country of England, the star defeated fellow Outcast Toni Storm as well as Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker to become the AEW Women’s World Champion.
Speaking with Women’s Wrestling Talk, the champion was asked if she’d like to return to her independent wrestling roots and work for any independent promotions in the future. After naming her family’s WAW company, Saraya admitted that while she doesn’t have her sights set on too many independent shows, she does want to collect title belts in multiple companies. Specifically, she wants to face IMPACT Knockouts Champion Trinity Fatu:
“WAW [World Association of Wrestling], of course. I don’t know about Indie promotions, but I would love to go against Trin [Trinity]. Maybe I carry the AEW (women’s title) and then take the IMPACT championship off her and hell, I’ll go to New Japan and take that championship too and carry them around.
Has Saraya opened the door to Trinity in AEW?
Trinity took to social media to respond to Saraya, telling her to be careful what she wishes for:
“.@Saraya be careful what you ask for the glow hits different this era #trinpact#IMPACT1000″
Saraya then offered her own comeback to Trinity, seemingly offering the IMPACT Knockouts Champion the chance to drop by her company:
“I believe you sister. Good luck keeping hold of it.. Maybe you can stop by @AEW so we can catch up”

Saraya has more immediate issues to deal with before any potential bout with Trinity, however. Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, and Toni Storm will face off in a four-way match on Dynamite with the winner getting a shot at Saraya’s title at Grand Slam in New York City.
