AEW Star Dealing With Serious Sight Issues

AEW star Jeff Hardy has had a bumpy time in the company and now he’s revealed the ongoing sight issues he’s dealing with.

Jeff Hardy joined AEW to much acclaim in March 2022 where he reunited with his brother Matt. However, the honeymoon period came to an abrupt end when Jeff Hardy was arrested for a DUI and suspended by AEW.

Hardy was made to attend rehab and maintaining his sobriety is believed to be a condition of his employment in Tony Khan’s company. After almost a year out of action as a result of that situation, Hardy returned to AEW TV in April 2023, just weeks after undergoing eye surgery.

Jeff Hardy Struggling With Double Vision In AEW

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Jeff Hardy explained that he’s still dealing with double vision despite eye surgery he had in March 2023 and says more matches will help him to deal with it in the ring:

My biggest challenge has been the eye surgery I had back in March, the double vision, so that’s still my biggest fear. I can see where I need to see. The double vision is still there.

For example, leaning back in bed and trying to watch TV. Even looking at the camera now, it’s doubling up on me a little bit. But to the left, it’s where it all started. It’s pretty much gone, so I can see where I need to in the wrestling ring. I just need to do more matches. More matches like tonight where I’m actually excited to go out there and perform.

Jeff Hardy teamed with his brother Matt and Brother Zay on the 29th of November edition of Dynamite where they lost to Action Andretti and Top Flight.
