AEW Star Calls Out Wrestler Who Injured Him For Being “Piece Of Sh*t”
Eddie Kingston has resentment towards Gabe Kidd, but not for causing him an injury.
While wrestling Kidd in May last year, Kingston sustained a fractured tibia, torn ACL, and torn meniscus, which sidelined him for 16 months until his return to AEW in September 2025.
His first bout in over a year was against Big Bill, which he won, at All Out in Ontario, Canada.
Since then, the promotion has made Eddie Kingston a regular on Collision, giving him time to ease into the setup.
AEW Star Eddie Kingston Has No Ill Will Towards Gabe Kidd
Eddie Kingston recently appeared on Close Up, hosted by Renee Paquette.
When asked if he held any resentment towards Gabe Kidd for the injury suffered at his hands last year, the AEW star revealed that he had no ill will towards Kidd, before calling him a “piece of sh*t.”
I don’t like Gabe to begin with. That just added more to it. I’m not mad that he injured me because I would have done it to him. What do you think I was trying to do in that match? I get it. This is not ballet, folks. I don’t like Gabe anyway. It just adds more fuel to the fire.
Now, here comes the smack, and it’s a little bit harder for those 16 months. Here comes that slap to the face sideways that I like to do because I really don’t like the person.
When I aim for the bridge of the nose, because once you break the nose, eyes get watery, they can’t see, you hit them with a three-piece and a soda. No, I have no ill will for the injury. I have ill will because I think he’s a piece of sh*t person and I want to f*ck him up for it. Other than that, no. [H/T: Fightful]
