AEW Star Calls Out Jake Paul: “I’m Right Here!”

Jake Paul

Jake Paul has a new challenger.

After getting the better of Nate Diaz in August, Paul now has a professional boxing record of seven wins from eight fights, with his only defeat coming to Tommy Fury. While there’s been no word on what’s next for the social media star, Anthony Ogogo has attempted to take matters into his own hands.

While Ogogo is currently an AEW-contracted wrestler, he’s an Olympic bronze medalist in boxing, with a record of 11 wins and one defeat as a professional.

Posting on social media, Ogogo said if Paul wants to face a “real boxer” he’s more than ready to step up.

Ogogo retired from boxing in 2019 following a serious eye injury sustained in 2016. After confirming his retirement, the star launched his wrestling career, eventually signing with AEW in late 2019.

Has Jake Paul Ever Wrestled?

Although Jake Paul has never stepped into the ring as a wrestler, he’s no stranger to the industry. The star got involved in the action when his brother Logan took on Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2022.

Jake has continually been linked with a match in a WWE ring following the success of his brother. Since making his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38, Logan Paul has impressed fans and business veterans alike with his natural athleticism and rapid progress in the ring.

Logan is currently signed to a WWE contract and will take on Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel for the United States Title. The match comes less than a month after he returned to boxing to defeat Dillon Danis.
