AEW Star Pays Brodie Lee Tribute 4 Years After His Death

Brodie Lee

Almost four years after the sad passing of Brodie Lee, one AEW star has paid tribute to the Exalted One at Dynamite Holiday Bash.

Anna Jay was in action on Dynamite Holiday Bash as she challenged Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship. Mone managed to escape with the victory to hang on to her title but Jay’s tribute to a lost AEW teammate did not go unnoticed by fans.

Anna Jay was The Dark Order’s number 99 when she joined the group in 2020 under the leadership of Mr. Brodie Lee. Jay was still a part of the group when Brodie Lee tragically died on December 26 2020 at the age of just 41.

Anna Jay Pays Tribute To Brodie Lee

For her title match against Mercedes Mone, Anna Jay paid tribute to her fallen leader, sporting a familiar long white coat for her entrance that looked a lot like those worn by Brodie Lee.

Anna Jay impressed many in her match with Mone despite her loss, The CEO, will however now move onto a huge title match at Wrestle Dynasty.

In the Tokyo Dome on January 5, Mercedes Mone faces a massive double title match as she puts her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship on the line against Mina Shirakawa. Mone only agreed to the match if Shirakawa put her Rev Pro Undisputed British Women’s Championship on the line as well. That means Mercedes Mone could have a stellar start to 2025 and hold three titles simultaneously.
