AEW Star Has 3 Words For Sting After WrestleDream Return

Sting AEW

One AEW star had a short and not very sweet message for Sting after he made a shock appearance at WrestleDream.

WrestleDream saw Hangman Adam Page retain his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe before Joe and The Opps viciously turned on him, indicating that things aren’t over between them. Kris Statlander retained the AEW Women’s World Title against Toni Storm before Mercedes Mone added an eleventh title to her collection when she defeated Mina Shirakawa for the Interim ROH Women’s Television Title.

Most fans tuned in, however, to see the brutality that was sure to come in the main event as Darby Allin battled Jon Moxley in an I Quit match.

Moxley battered and brutalised Allin but could not get him to give up. That led to the Death Riders appearing on the scene to help put Allin away, with Moxley dropping his opponent with a taser. The Death Riders then filled a fishtank with water, allowing Moxley to try and drown his opponent.

Marina Shafir Unhappy With Sting

Thankfully, before murder occurred on pay-per-view, the lights went out, and when they returned, Sting was standing in the ring with his trusty baseball bat in hand. Sting took out the Death Riders before smashing the fish tank to ensure no more drowning attempts took place.

Sting then left Darby Allin with his bat and carried Marina Shafir out of the arena to ensure she could do no more damage. Allin then won the match when he made Moxley quit in the Scorpion Deathlock.

Taking to social media, Marina Shafir shared her thoughts on the situation as she simply wrote:

F*ck you @Sting
