AEW Rampage Spoilers For January 19th

AEW Dynamite aired live in North Charleston, South Carolina and after the huge show, the company taped Rampage to air on Friday night.

Dynamite saw Samoa Joe put the AEW World Championship on the line against HOOK in a much talked about main event. In the end, HOOK showed the world exactly who he was but came up short as he was choked out by a vicious champion. Joe was then confronted by both Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland after the match with both stars making clear that they want the gold.

There was an emotional moment during the night as Mark Briscoe paid tribute to his late brother Jay on the first anniversary of Jay’s tragic death.

• Chris Jericho defeated Matt Sydal – Jericho was attacked by Konosuke Takeshita after the match
• Penta El Zero Miedo defeated Anthony Henry
• Kris Statlander defeated Queen Aminata
• Darby Allin defeated Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy has expressed his frustration about being stuck on Rampage in recent weeks and once again he was featured on the show, losing to Darby Allin.
