AEW Has Another New Game In Development

Days ahead of the launch of AEW Fight Forever, the company announced that they have another game in development.

As fans eagerly await the launch of All Elite Wrestling’s Fight Forever console game on June 29th, the company has announced that they have another game in the works in partnership with Warner Bros Discovery Sports. According to a press release on June 20th, the new mobile game AEW: Figure Fighters will see the company’s wrestlers stylized as action figures as they go head to head in competition. The press release reads as follows:

“This free to play game will feature 3D animated versions of AEW wrestlers battling it out in the ring, allowing fans to expand their fandom and love for the show. Fans will be able to collect and level up their favorite wrestlers, play in various game modes, and complete numerous challenges. The development of the game furthers WBD Sports’ commitment to innovation in gaming, supported by an ongoing partnership with Immutable X. ‘AEW: Figure Fighters’ is in early development and planned for release in 2024.”

The game is reportedly set for a 2024 release. Though more information is scarce at this time, fans can sign up to receive updates on the game’s official website, which features illustrations of Jamie Hayter and Darby Allin in their action figure form.

This will be the second mobile game under the All Elite banner, with AEW Elite General Manager being released in July of 2021.
