Years after it was first announced by Tony Khan’s company, the release of AEW’s debut Fight Forever video game is now just weeks away.

On November 10th, 2020, AEW announced that they were set to produce their debut video game with the company working with developers Yuke’s and publishers THQ Nordic. Since then, the wait has gone on for AEW fans to get their hands on the title but now it seems that wait is nearly over.

A new update from Fightful Select has now reported that AEW Fight Forever is scheduled to be released on June 27th, just two days after the company’s supershow with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Forbidden Door.

AEW is said to hold the rights to the game engine which could make future releases utilizing it possible but the working plan was for the game to be a one-off release with constant updates. An official announcement on the game is due to come in the next week.

That means it could be another big week for announcements in the company with Tony Khan revealing that on the 24th of May edition of Dynamite, it will be revealed where the debut edition of Collision will take place, which will likely provide the answer to whether or not CM Punk is actually returning to the company.
