AEW Faction Set To Add New Members “Imminently”

AEW

Tony Khan had a big announcement on Dynamite regarding the first episode of Collision and now it seems like a big change is coming for one of the groups involved.

As AEW prepares for its new Saturday night Collision show to debut on TNT on June 17th, Tony Khan appeared on Dynamite to announce the main event for the inaugural show.

Khan announced that Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White and Juice Robinson will team up with ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe to face the team of AEW Tag Team Champions FTR and the returning CM Punk. Reports in recent weeks had suggested that Punk was keen to work with both Joe and White on his return to the company.

While all the talk might be about CM Punk’s return, Fightful Select has reported that big changes are coming to Bullet Club Gold. The group is said to be gaining new members “imminently” although it is noted that despite teaming with the group it isn’t known if Samoa Joe will be one of the group’s new recruits.

The report also notes that Jay White is said to have been “very laid back” about his creative so far in AEW and CM Punk had taken a liking to him and that’s why he wanted to work with the ex-NJPW star.
