AEW Dynamite Sees New Champions Crowned
AEW Dynamite in Louisville, Kentucky proved to be a bad night for The Young Bucks and Adam Page and it looks like even worse could be yet to come.
The Young Bucks and Hangman Adam Page captured the Ring of Honor Six-Man Tag Team Championship at Rampage Grand Slam when they defeated Mogul Embassy’s Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun for the gold.
On the November 1st Dynamite, The Mogul Embassy got their chance to reclaim the title after a match against The Elite’s trio was announced late in the day.
Once the bout got in the ring, things were going well for Page and The Bucks and the former AEW World Champion looked set to finish off his opponents with the Buckshot Lariat but Swerve Strickland made his presence felt, taunting Page to the point that he chased Strickland to the back, abandoning the match.
That allowed Kaun, Liona, and Cage to get the upper hand with Bishop Kaun ultimately pinning Matt Jackson to win the championship.
Matt Jackson Furious After AEW Dynamite Loss
An irate Matt Jackson began trashing the ringside area while footage from backstage saw Page and Strickland brawling. Later in the night, The Young Bucks were seen in their locker room with Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho before Matt Jackson took serious issue with Jericho’s presence, storming off followed by his brother Nick.
Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega won a big tag team match but they were soon confronted by The Don Callis Family and a huge Street Fight was made for the November 15 edition of Dynamite which will feature Paul Wight.
