AEW Date Change Hints At New TV Show
AEW recently announced a summer tour of Canada that will also see the company team up once again for a second Forbidden Door show but a date switch has indicated bigger plans could be on the horizon.
Forbidden Door headlines six summer dates Tony Khan’s company has announced for Canada with the company running shows in Hamilton, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, and Calgary in June and July. The majority of those dates will either be for Dynamite and Rampage tapings but the Calgary event will be a house show taking place in the Saddledome during the world-famous Calgary Stampede.
Now, the company has advised on social media that its debut in Regina which was originally advertised as a live Rampage taping on Friday, the 14th of July has been moved to Saturday, the 8th of July. The show is now being advertised as a “televised event” which means it could be a Battle of the Belts taping or it could have something to do with a rumoured third AEW show that could begin this year.
🇨🇦 #AEW makes its Regina, Saskatchewan debut on the NEW DATE of Saturday, July 8 with a LIVE televised event from the @brandtcentre!

The 12th of July show scheduled for Saskatoon is still being advertised solely as an AEW Dynamite event on AEWTIX.com but it could be that the company adds a Rampage taping to this as is the norm for most Dynamite shows.
