AEW Announces Brand New Location For WrestleDream

Tony Khan AEW

For the first time ever, WrestleDream will take place in a new location as AEW reveals the time and place for its October show.

It was at 2024’s WrestleDream that Jon Moxley captured the AEW World Championship from Bryan Danielson, sending Danielson into hiatus and keeping the title hostage for nine long months.

That’s why it was extra sweet for AEW fans to see Bryan Danielson make his return to the company to help Hangman Adam Page dethrone Moxley for the AEW World Championship at All In Texas.

AEW WrestleDream Leaves Washington

Now, AEW has announced the return of WrestleDream for 2025, and for the first time in the show’s history, it will take place outside the state of Washington.

WrestleDream 2025 will take place in St. Louis, Missouri, in the Chaifetz Arena on October 18th. Tickets for the event begin going on presale on July 22nd, with general sale beginning on July 28th.

Currently, it is only AEW’s November and December pay-per-view events with the date and locations unknown for the rest of 2025. In August, the joint show with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Forbidden Door, takes place in London, England, and All Out will emanate from Toronto, Canada, in September.

The first-ever WrestleDream show took place in 2023 and paid homage to the late NJPW founder Antonio Inoki. That show was headlined by Christian Cage retaining the TNT Title against Darby Allin in a brutal bout, which led to the AEW debut of Adam Copeland.
