Adam Pearce Open To Settling The Score In WWE Grudge Match

WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has addressed the possibility of lacing up his boots to go one-on-one with his SmackDown counterpart, Nick Aldis.

For fans of current WWE, Adam Pearce is the official who has tried to keep the peace in the company on-screen for several years now. In October 2023, Pearce was given some help in that endeavour when Triple H named Nick Aldis as SmackDown General Manager allowing Pearce to focus solely on Monday Night Raw.

For longer-time wrestling fans, Adam Pearce is an independent wrestling standout who has captured the NWA World Heavyweight Championship five times – three times more than Nick Aldis held that same title.

The professional rivalry between Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis was in sharp focus during the WWE Draft as both men tried to build the best roster for their respective brands. But could things go a step further?

Adam Pearce Prepared To Get His Hands Dirty In WWE

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Adam Pearce discussed the possibility of lacing up his boots to face Nick Aldis in a WWE ring and admits he’d be up for that match if the opportunity ever arose:

Yeah, there’s something there. There’s a lot of air and opportunity between Mr. Aldis and I. But here’s the thing, you have to want that and I don’t think he wants that. No, that’d be fun.

I think neither one of us, neither Nick nor I, are ever going to angle for a position in the spotlight like that. I think we’re both content very happy and very honored to have the positions we have currently in WWE.

There’s only one general manager for the show. So it’s highly important. It has been the pinnacle of my professional and performing career and I hope that continues into the future. But as I’ve said 100 times, privately, publicly, I ain’t afraid to get my hands dirty either.

So if the situation calls for it, I’m sure Nick would be down for it and I think there’s a whole litany of NWA fans who have played that what if game. Because I think our names are always connected when people talk about that, especially in the modern era. I think it’d be fun for a lot of different groups of wrestling fans.
