Adam Copeland Working Out 12 Hours After Surgery (Video)
Just hours after undergoing surgery, Adam Copeland is putting in the work.
At AEW Double or Nothing, Adam Copeland put his TNT Title on the line against Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match. Copeland has been at war with the House of Black for months, and the violent extravaganza seemed a perfect way to end the feud once and for all.
Although Copeland eventually grabbed the win, via an assist from Gangrel, his victory came at a cost. During the match, the veteran jumped from the top of the cage, attempting to drive Black through a table. However, he mostly landed on his feet, and it was later revealed he’d broken his leg.
Since joining AEW, Adam Copeland has become a popular figure backstage and it’s been reported his absence in the coming months will be keenly felt.
Adam Copeland Already Plotting AEW Comeback
The injury means that not only has the WWE Hall of Famer been stripped of the TNT Champion, but he’ll also be unavailable for Forbidden Door. Not that he’s letting that stop him.
In a post on Instagram, Copeland shared a video of him stepping through the ‘Forbidden Door’ into his gym while he’s on crutches. In the clip, Copeland says he’s just 12 hours out of surgery before planking.
