A veteran WWE superstar is still under contract even though they have been off television for a long time.

It has been reported by PWInsider Elite that Bo Dallas is still under contract with WWE even though he hasn’t been on television for nearly a year.

When the late, great Bray Wyatt returned to WWE In October 2022 after being fired a year earlier, he came back as a fresh character without donning The Fiend mask. Shortly after Wyatt’s return, a new character was introduced named Uncle Howdy.

Uncle Howdy was a masked character who never revealed who he was. It was reported behind the scenes that it was Bo Dallas portraying the character, but WWE never told the audience that. Bo Dallas is a WWE superstar who is Bray Wyatt’s younger brother, which also wasn’t acknowledged by WWE.

When Bray Wyatt defeated LA Knight at Royal Rumble 2023, they did a post match angle where Wyatt kept on fighting with Knight into the crowd where they fought onto some structure. That led to Uncle Howdy appearing and jumping onto Knight onto some padded area that led to a slight explosion.

There was a plan for WWE to have a Bray Wyatt-Bobby Lashley match at WrestleMania 39. It didn’t happen due to Bray’s illness, but there was an angle on Smackdown with Lashley attacking Uncle Howdy. The storyline went away shortly after that.

Following Bray Wyatt’s untimely death in August 2023, there were reports that WWE was planning to have a Bray Wyatt-Uncle Howdy match.

What Did Bo Dallas Do During His WWE Career?

Bo Dallas, whose real name is Taylor Rotunda, worked for WWE from 2008 to 2021. During his career, he was a former NXT Champion who also was a Raw Tag Team Champion with Curtis Axel and he held the “coveted” 24/7 Title as well.

When Bray Wyatt was brought back, WWE re-hired Bo Dallas as well. As noted by PWInsider Elite, he remains under contract with the company. It’s unknown if WWE plans to use him at any point in the future.
