Why Absent AEW Star Still Can’t Appear In The Company

AEW star Riho has addressed her on-going absence from the squared circle.

The Tokyo-born former AEW Women’s World Champion last competed in a bout on AEW television on the 6th July edition of Collision, defeating Lady Frost in singles competition.

27 year-old Riho revealed during a recent blog post that a broken arm suffered during that match was initially the reason for her not appearing on AEW television, although the injury has since healed and medical clearance to return to the ring has been obtained.

Instead, Riho revealed that issues securing a visa to return to the United States are causing the delay in her return to Tony Khan’s organisation:

“I broke my arm at the beginning of July and it’s been 3 months. I’m sure you’re all thinking, ‘Why aren’t you coming back?’

As it turns out, my VISA has been renewed and I am still unable to go to the United States. The bone has healed completely! Although there is still some slowness in movement, I think it will get better in a little while.”

AEW Offer Would Not Interest WWE Hall Of Famer

One wrestling personality less keen on returning to AEW television is Eric Bischoff.

The former WCW President has previously appeared on screen for the organisation but has since been a vocal critic of the product and recently revealed that he would have zero interest in joining the company should the offer be extended by Tony Khan.
