2 WWE Stars Officially Change Names On Raw
There’s been a major overhaul for two WWE stars on Raw as they get new names.
WWE was introduced to a new character many months ago as El Grande Americano appeared out of nowhere. However, Americano was familiar to many as the man under the red, white, and blue mask was none other than Chad Gable.
El Grande Americano won a huge singles match at WrestleMania 41 against Rey Fenix, but disaster soon struck. Gable was forced out of action due to injury, but to the surprise of everyone, El Grande Americano continued to appear.
Now it was Ludwig Kaiser under the mask, although this has never been acknowledged on WWE television. Soon, a multiverse of masked stars also appeared to help Americano in his matches. Fans soon figured out that the two other masked stars were Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate.
New Names For Los Americanos In WWE
Now, the group has officially formed the Los Americanos faction, and on the September 29th edition of Raw, the masked stars were in action against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. In itting with their new gimmick, the two English stars have new names.
On commentary, Joe Tessitore confirmed that Tyler Bate, who dons a blue mask, is called Bravo, while Pete Dunne, in the red mask, is Rayo.
This marks another name change for Pete Dunne in WWE, as he was previously called up to the main roster in 2022 as Butch. That name became part of later storylines after he reverted to his more familiar name.
