15-Time WWE Champion Will Never Wrestle Again

WWE fans unhappy

A WWE legend has confirmed he is never returning to the squared circle.

The Undertaker had a long, legendary career before retiring five years ago. In his last match, The Deadman defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36.

The 60-year-old has made several appearances on-screen since his retirement and even got physical on a few occasions. However, he has not competed in an official match ever since.

In a recent interview with the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast with Tom Segura, the 15-time champion disclosed that he has been living with pain since he hung up his boots. He pointed out that he knew all along that he would reach that point in his life.

I try not to complain about it, because I know. I mean, I knew the whole time that eventually you’re gonna get to that point. I mean, you don’t play the game that hard and not have residual effects… Smoke and mirrors, man. Yeah, that’s kind of key to, and once it’s all over. I was never really like a body guy. I never like really cashed in on what I look like physically.

I kept myself in physically good shape, and that becomes really important once you retire. Because that’s when you’re like, ‘Ah, I don’t have to do this anymore now.’ That’s when guys blow up, and they stop moving, and then that’s it. Just all those years come crashing down. They come crashing down on your heart.

The Undertaker Is Not Going Back To WWE Ring

Over the past few years, many WWE fans have been calling for The Undertaker to return to the squared circle for one more match. He was even rumored to make his in-ring comeback in Saudi Arabia at WrestleMania 43.

In his interview with the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast with Tom Segura, the WWE Hall of Famer appeared to debunk these rumors, as he clearly stated that he was not going back in the ring for another match despite working out regularly.

So I do twice the workouts, for half the results, but, you know, it keeps me moving. It keeps my mind going as well, like, you know, although I know I’m not going to get back in the ring and have a match, it’s just better for my mind.
