3 Signs WWE Is Finally Turning Dominik Mysterio Babyface

The WWE Hall Of Famer Who Says They Didn't See Dominik Mysterio As A Heel

Dominik Mysterio is one of the top heels in WWE. But is he on the verge of turning babyface?

Mysterio has been a heel since he betrayed his father, Rey Mysterio, and joined The Judgment Day in the summer of 2022. He has done an incredible job as a bad guy in the company. There used to be days when the live audience in the arena would shower him with boos and wouldn’t even let him speak a word. That’s how much heat he garnered, which is a true sign that he’s done justice to his character.

Dominik Mysterio has come a long way in the past few years. He’s now one of the beloved heels in the company, who gets cheered and jeered enthusiastically by the fans. But the WWE Universe might not get to see him play the fan-favorite heel character anymore, as he might turn into a babyface soon.

Mysterio stood toe to toe with one of the legends in WWE, John Cena, on WWE RAW this week. He put his Intercontinental Championship on the line and unfortunately lost it, and this loss might be a major reason that could trigger his flip to the good side.

#1 The Judgment Day Didn’t Help Dominik Mysterio

Mysterio’s Judgment Day friends have played an integral role in his Intercontinental Championship reign. They’ve helped him time and again to retain the gold over the past months. But this week on RAW, none of his friends showed up to help him, and he was angry with his stablemates for not having his back.

#2 Finn Balor’s Strange Reaction To Dominik Mysterio Losing The Intercontinental Championship

After Dominik Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship to John Cena, Finn Balor shared a strange remark. Balor, who should be upset over the fact that his JD stablemate lost his gold, hinted in a recent tweet that he was happy with what transpired. We all know there has been some friction between Mysterio and Balor in the past months, and Mysterio’s loss might finally give Balor a reason to throw him out of their group.

# 3 John Cena Called Mysterio A Good Kid

After Cena won the IC title, he went backstage, where WWE superstars were waiting to congratulate him. Dom’s father, Rey Mysterio, was one of them. The Master of 619 offered his compliments to the new champion and praised him for giving his son one hell of a beating. Cena, in response, called Dominik a good kid.

All these reasons, I believe, may ultimately lead to Mysterio turning babyface in WWE. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a babyface Dominik in WWE. Would you like to see Dom turn into a good guy?
