WWE Annnounces Enzo Amore Has Been Released
Enzo Amore has been released from his WWE contract according to WWE.com. They issued the following statement using his real name.
WWE has come to terms on the release of Eric Arndt (Enzo Amore).
There’s no “WWE wishes him well in his future endeavors” line there, which is rare.
Enzo was released because he was accused of rape, which is a story that came to light yesterday.
Another reason for the release could be this. It was reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com that Enzo knew of the rape accusation and didn’t let WWE know about it.
I was told this morning that Enzo Amore was aware of the allegations and didn't clue WWE in.

Amore was the WWE Cruiserweight Champion. The title is now vacant.
Here’s more info from ABC15 in Phoenix.
Phoenix police said the incident happened Oct. 19 at the Clarendon Hotel and Spa, near 3rd Avenue and Indian School Road.
According to police, officers responded to a local hospital on October 23, for a call of a sexual assault that occurred several days prior at the hotel. No other information has been released as the case is under investigation.
Enzo’s last match in WWE was this past Sunday at a 205 Live house show in Poughkeepsie, New York against Cedric Alexander where Enzo retained his title.
UPDATE: On Tuesday evening, Enzo/Eric posted this tweet with a statement from him through his lawyers.
