WWE Reportedly Confiscates Curtis Axel Signs During Last Night’s RAW

TJR Wrestling

Yesterday’s edition of Monday Night Raw was held at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is the hometown of WWE Superstar, Curtis Axel.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion competed in a one-on-one match against Bo Dallas. Although Axel lost the match, he received a great babyface reaction from his hometown crowd. The audience was cheering Axel on and chanting “skol” for him which is a popular Minnesota Vikings chant done to rally the team.

During last night’s episode of Raw, WWE reportedly confiscated Axel signs from fans seated at ringside. The signs were supporting Axel and would have likely been seen on television. WWE has removed audience members’ signs in the past, so this is nothing new. It’s interesting though that WWE wouldn’t want signs supporting a wrestler who was clearly working as a babyface that night.

Below is a comment from Axel on the matter, as well as tweets from fans who claimed their signs were confiscated.
