WWE Report: Cedric Alexander Out 3-5 Months Due to Knee Injury

TJR Wrestling

Cedric Alexander, a rising star in WWE’s Cruiserweight division, will be out of action for 3-5 months due to a knee injury according to a report from ProWrestlingSheet.com.

The report from James McKenna notes that Cedric injured his right knee a few weeks ago and doctors have said he won’t be able to wrestle for 3-5 months. There’s no official word about what kind of knee injury it is, but something like that likely requires surgery if it’s going to be 3-5 months.

There’s been no official word from WWE on his injury status.

TJR Thoughts: That’s awful news. I’m a huge fan of his and thought he had breakout star potential in the Cruiserweight division. His chance to break out will be on hold until the summer due to this unfortunate injury.
