There will be a biopic film covering the life of WWE’s Chairman and CEO Vincent Kennedy McMahon, reports Deadline.com.
The report notes that the drama will be directed by John Requa & Glenn Ficarra from a script by Craig A. Williams. It will be produced by Sony Pictures’ TriStar, with Andrew Lazar producing with WWE Studios president Michael Luisi and Adam Goldworm. Hannah Minghella and Nicole Brown will oversee for TriStar.
Since WWE Studios president Michael Luisi is one of the producers then that means it has the approval of Vince McMahon, which should give the film plenty of access to him, his lifestyle and many other things we may not know about the man that has run WWE for over 35 years.
There’s no word on who would play Vince in the film or what actors may be a part of it, but that info should be coming in the next few weeks.
