WWE News: United States Title Match Added to Royal Rumble Card, Updated Lineup
A new match has been added to the WWE Royal Rumble card for this Sunday, January 26.
It was announced on Tuesday afternoon that Andrade will defend the United States Championship against Humberto Carrillo. Andrade retained the US Title last night on Raw in a great Ladder Match against Rey Mysterio thanks to an assist from manager Zelina Vega. After the match, Andrade wanted to attack Mysterio some more, but Carrillo made the save after missing about one month of TV after Andrade gave him a DDT on the cement on Raw.
The addition of the US Title match means there are six matches on the undercard in addition to the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches. The Royal Rumble main card runs from 7pmET until about 11pmET and there’s a Kickoff Show starting at 5pmET as well. That will run for two hours.
Here’s the updated Royal Rumble lineup.
