WWE News: Top Three Raw Matches Advertised for TLC PPV in December, Note on Brock Lesnar Future Matches

TJR Wrestling

The next WWE pay-per-view is Survivor Series coming up in ten days on November 18 and we already know most of the card for that show. Following Survivor Series is WWE TLC on Sunday, December 16 from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

A lot of things can change between now and December 16, but the SAP Center website has three matches already advertised for the event likely to help ticket sales. They received the info from WWE, so this shows what direction WWE is going in post-Survivor Series.

The three matches advertised on the website are:

Intercontinental Championship: Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin

Raw Women’s Championship: Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax

Those are all Raw matches. The Strowman match was originally advertised as Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre, but it was changed to Baron Corbin this week.

Another match expected to take place on the show is the finals of the Mixed Match Challenge, which I have covered in depth including this week’s show. We don’t know who will be in those matches, but with Strowman likely set for the match with Corbin, that probably means his team with Ember Moon won’t be in the finals unless WWE wants him to work twice. The finals could end up being something like the Country Dominance team of Bobby Lashley and Mickie James facing off with Smackdown’s Fenomenal Flair team of AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair although that also depends on if WWE Champion AJ Styles had a title match at TLC, which I expect him to have.

Brock Lesnar, the Universal Champion, is not expected to appear at the show with the Wrestling Observer noting that Lesnar is scheduled for Survivor Series against AJ Styles, then likely a Universal Title match at Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Lesnar also may have a UFC fight in March with Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, but that’s just a rumor for now.

Keep in mind that the card is subject to change, of course.
