WWE News: Nia Jax Expected to Miss Several Months Due to Torn ACL in Both Knees, Will Undergo Surgery Soon

TJR Wrestling

Nia Jax, the former Raw Women’s Champion, is going to be out of a WWE ring for a long time. Jax will soon be undergoing major knee surgery on both knees with Pro Wrestling Sheet reporting that she is dealing with a torn ACL in each knee.

The typical rehab time for most athletes is anywhere from 8-10 months, but since it’s a torn ACL in both knees, it could be even longer than that. I think it’s fair to guess that she will probably miss the rest of this year and perhaps part of next year as well.

Jax tweeted this afternoon saying she’ll be gone for a while.

Later in the afternoon, she sent out this tweet where she specifically mentioned double ACL surgery.

Jax was part of the four-team Women’s Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania with partner Tamina where Jax barely got involved likely due to the knee injury.

There’s no word yet on when she is going to have the surgery and WWE has yet to comment on it, but if they do, we will update this post.
