Jim Ross, WWE’s Hall of Fame announcer who returned to the company last month, announced on his website JRsBBQ.com that he will be calling the matches for WWE’s United Kingdom television show, whenever they air on the WWE Network. Here’s what Ross wrote:

I’m excited to announce that I will join the talented Nigel McGuinness to broadcast the recently taped, WWE matches from Norwich, England and these bouts will air on the WWE Network soon. Happy for this opportunity to call bouts involving new wrestlers, for me, and a new broadcast partner which freshens up all facets of the process. Stay tuned as to when these specials will be broadcast on the WWE Network which is still the best value in the land for only $9.99 per month.

Ross also noted that there is more in the works as well: “WWE has other bookings for me as well and we will announce them when they are completely finalized.”

The WWE UK tapings took place this past Saturday and Sunday in Norwich, England although no date has been announced for when they will air. All we know is this that it will be this month thanks to a tweet from Triple H.

As we reported on the weekend, Tyler Bate will defend the UK Title against Pete Dunne at NXT Takeover Chicago on May 20 as WWE continues to try to grow their UK brand.
