WWE News: Becky Lynch Announces She is Pregnant, Lynch Comments on How She Found Out with Fiance Seth Rollins, More

The opening segment on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw saw the Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch enter the ring with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Asuka made her entrance because she won the Money in the Bank contract on Sunday and she was wondering what Lynch was doing.

Lynch informed Asuka that she didn’t just win the briefcase last night and the Raw Women’s Title was in the briefcase. Lynch let Asuka know that she is the new Raw Women’s Champion. Lynch’s title reign lasted 399 days.

Lynch also let the world know that she is going to be gone for a while because she is pregnant. Congrats to Becky on being pregnant and being a mother. Becky did not say that fiance Seth Rollins is the father, but that’s likely the case.

A pregnancy for Lynch would mean she will miss the rest of this year and maybe return to action at some point next year after she has the baby.

Rollins and Lynch started dating in early 2019 and were engaged in August 2019. This will be the first child for both of them.

Here are some comments from Lynch in an article with People Magazine where they revealed the baby is due in December:

“I’ve always, always wanted kids. I’m just so career-focused that it became one of those things that, when you’re chasing a dream for so long, I always wondered, ‘Am I going to get around to it? Is it going to happen for me?’ When we got together, things started to look a lot clearer and I knew he was the person that I wanted to have kids with — that this was going to happen and it was just a matter of when.”

“I took the first one (test) wrong. Then I took a few more tests until I got a digital one that just said the word ‘Pregnant.’ I was with Seth at the time and he just threw his hands up in the air, all excited!”

“I don’t know what the next chapter is because I only know what it’s like to think for myself when I’m by myself. So I don’t know what it’ll look like and how my priorities shift and what I’m going to want in the future. So, everything’s open.”

The article noted that Seth and Becky were going to get married in May, but that’s on hold now due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
