The following announcement was made by World Wrestling Entertainment about their WWE Network show 205 Live:

Beginning this Friday, Oct. 4, The Most Exciting Hour on Television is moving to Friday nights. As part of WWE Premiere Week, the home of the Cruiserweights —WWE 205 Live — is moving to Fridays at 10/9 C, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.

At the conclusion of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, tune in to WWE Network to see WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak, Oney Lorcan, Humberto Carrillo, Tony Nese and all your favorite Cruiserweights in an hour of action that will leave you breathless.

Don’t miss WWE 205 Live, Fridays at 10/9 C, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.

This was an expected move after Smackdown was moved to Friday beginning this week as well. Moving to a Friday 10pmET time slot is not a great place to be since Friday is a weak TV night. Yes, it follows Smackdown on Fox, but I doubt Smackdown will promote it much if at all.

There are definitely questions about how much longer 205 Live will continue to exist because of the rumors that WWE may have interest in a third hour of Smackdown either on Fox Sports 1 or WWE Network. Those are just rumors for now.
