WWE Is Bringing Raw & Smackdown To Scotland For The First Time Ever This November

World Wrestling Entertainment recently announced that they will be taking Monday Night Raw and Thursday Night Smackdown to Scotland. This is the first time in history where Raw and Smackdown will be held in Scotland. The shows will be taped on November 7 and 8 from the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow. Tickets will be going on sale Saturday, April 23.

This is a part of WWE’s tour of the United Kingdom that they have every November. More dates are expected to be announced for the tour soon.

Mark’s reaction: Good for Scotland getting to have a Raw and Smackdown held in their neck of the woods. Since I’m from northeast United States, I sometimes take for granted how frequently WWE visits and has shows available to attend. Whenever I hear of a place (or in this case a country) where a Raw, Smackdown or PPV was never held, I instantly feel a little bad. If you’re a big fan of wrestling, there’s nothing like a live experience. Being there live can make a bad show good and a good show great. Good for Scotland. They’re a passionate fan base and I’m sure they’ll create an electric atmosphere in the SSE Hydro Arena when November 7 and 8 rolls around.
