WWE Hall of Fame News: Molly Holly to Induct Ivory, Lilian Garcia’s Role at WrestleMania

TJR Wrestling

It was announced on Friday that former two-time WWE Women’s Champion Molly Holly will be inducting her friend and new WWE Hall of Famer, Ivory, who is a three-time WWE Women’s Champion. The announcement was made on WWE.com and so far neither woman has commented on it because Molly doesn’t have social media while Ivory has yet to mention it on Twitter.

Molly was last seen on WWE programming during the Royal Rumble match in January as a surprise entrant. Molly is not known for being over the top, but she is a solid promo and will do a good job of paying tribute to her good friend.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Friday, April 6 at 8pmET only on WWE Network.

The only other presenters known so far at the Hall of Fame are Edge and Christian presenting the Dudleys, which we shared with you earlier in the week.

Paul Heyman has been rumored to induct Goldberg, but it’s not official yet.

It was also announced today that former WWE ring announcer will be called on to be the guest ring announcer for the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania on April 8 in New Orleans. Garcia commented on the honor on Twitter.

It’s not really the first women’s battle royal at a WrestleMania, but it’s the first time since WWE pushed their women’s evolution (or is it revolution?) hard.
