This is very sad news. I know she hasn’t been in the wrestling business for a decade, but she still appeared at wrestling indy shows and conventions even as recently as this year’s WrestleMania. I didn’t know of any health issues with her or anything wrong. I had met her a few times at those wrestling conventions. She was so nice to everybody.
On behalf of everybody associated with TJRWrestling, we send our heartfelt condolences to Ashley’s family, friends and fans all around the world. Gone too soon. Very sad to learn of this news today.
This is just awful news – Ashley Massaro is gone. She was only 39. She lived in the same town as me…I loved seeing her around. She was always so nice…and now she’s gone. #RIPAshleyMassaropic.twitter.com/wOUY4gsTQo

I have no words. Ashley was my tag partner at Wrestlemania. My sometimes road wife. We did countless photo shoots and press days together. It seems like yesterday Ashley was a major part of my life and then our worlds changed and now she is gone. Im heartbroken for her family. https://t.co/QTcNxN3P0Kpic.twitter.com/olaTWKD9JS
