WWE are pulling out all the stops for when Raw rolls into Dallas, the site of Wrestlemania 32, on October 19, the last Raw before the Hell in a Cell PPV.
It’s been confirmed on WWE.com that appearing on October 19 Raw will be Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Lesnar’s opponent days later at Hell in a Cell, The Undertaker.six
After Raw finishes, Brock and Steve Austin will head to the backstage area to take part in the Stone Cold Podcast Live for the WWE Network.
Ski’s Take – Wow! Now that could be stellar edition of Raw. Was this announced to stop the rot and bring back the viewership that they’ve lost? Or just trying to tap into the market before Wrestlemania takes place in the same area six months later, showing the locals the kind of stellar show they’re expecting to put on.
Will the legends talk in ring about the destructive nature of the cell? Or will they somehow be involved with both The Beast and The Phenom? Either way I don’t mind! I am a massive fan of all the men advertised so they’ve sold it to me already, and with the addition of those legends I think they might sell it to the all important casual fan that WWE caters too the most.
Keep in mind also that they will likely push the WWE 2K16 video game that Austin is on the cover of and it’s released later in October. They will also plug WrestleMania 32 in the Dallas area because tickets go on sale for that in early November. It’s a smart move for WWE to call on the legends that the fans love so much.
So is this something that excites you or bores you? Or maybe you think they’ll take precious time away from talent? Hit me up in the comments and let me know.
