WWE Announces New WrestleMania Ticket On-Sale Date for This Friday, Presale on Thursday

The tickets for WWE’s two-night WrestleMania 37 event were supposed to go on sale on Tuesday morning. That got pushed back because WWE was still finalizing seating arrangement. This morning, the company announced tickets would go on sale this Friday with a presale on Thursday. Here’s all the info from WWE.com:

WrestleMania is back in business, and tickets to the two-night event will now go on sale this Friday, March 19, starting at 10 a.m. ET.

Fans interested in an exclusive WrestleMania presale starting tomorrow, March 18, at 10 a.m. ET, can register at www.wrestlemania.com/presale.

Ticket prices for WrestleMania range from $35-$2,500 and can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com.

WrestleMania will take place Saturday, April 10, and Sunday, April 11, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, and stream live exclusively on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.

Here’s some information on how many people will be allowed in attendance for each night of WrestleMania. There were reports of WWE wanting up to 45,000 people in the stadium, but that’s not going to happen due to COVID-19 protocols. However, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times is reporting that capacity will be around 25,000 people in attendance. That’s about 36% of what full capacity would be.

Encina wrote about it on the Tampa Bay Times website and here’s an excerpt of that:

“Approximately 25,000 seats will be made available for each night of the April 10-11 event, which has been spread over two nights to allow more fans to attend. In a normal year, Raymond James would be able to hold a maximum of 70,000 fans for WrestleMania, counting floor seating.”

“WWE has been working with local partners and government officials regarding safety protocols. Capacity for the event will be right around the same as last month’s Super Bowl, which was held at 38-percent capacity, though that crowd included 7,500 vaccinated health care workers.”

“Health and safety protocols at WrestleMania will include seating pods, social distancing, masks required, temperature checks, health screenings, cashless concessions and mobile ticketing. Free masks will be given upon entry, like at the Super Bowl.”
