1992 – Bret Hart won his first WWE World Title from Ric Flair in Saskatoon at a TV taping for episodes of WWF Superstars and Prime Time Wrestling that aired across late October and November. The match itself never aired on television, only on Coliseum Video VHS release. The tapings focused on promoting the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view and featured the TV debuts of Yokozuna, and The Headshrinkers as well as an Intercontinental title match between the British Bulldog and The Repo Man.

Marty Jannetty also made a surprise return and revenge attack on Shawn Michaels after their split almost a year earlier on The Barber Shop interview segment. Also, Money Inc (Ted DiBiase and IRS) defended their newly won Tag Team titles against High Energy (Owen Hart and Koko B. Ware). Even though Money Inc. was acknowledged at these tapings as the Tag Team Champions, they did not win the titles until the following night’s tapings for Wrestling Challenge in nearby Regina in Saskatchewan.

1998 – On WCW Monday Nitro from the United Center in Chicago the war between Eric Bishoff and The Four Horseman escalated, Goldberg had the biggest test of his undefeated streak when defeated The Giant. 2004 – At the SmackDown taping at the Manchester Arena in England, Rey Mysterio won an 18-man Battle Royale, and WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield defeated Hardcore Holly.

2015 – WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is forced to take on Demon Kane in a Lumberjack match ahead of their pay-per-view title match at Hell In A Cell. Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose lost to The New Day, Roman Reigns faced the new Wyatt Family member Braun Strowman, and John Cena issued another Open Challenge for the United States Championship which was answered, unsuccessfully, by Dolph Ziggler.

2019 – At ROH Glory by Honor in New Orleans, Silas Young won a battle royal to face ROH World Champion Rush later in the show. PCO defeated Dalton Castle in a Final Battle number one contender’s semi-final match and Marty Scurll won the other semi-final match.
