1992 – Mexican wrestling promotion AAA is officially launched.
1995 – Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Irwin R. Schyster in the main event of the live edition of WWF Monday Night Raw from Binghamton, New York. On the follow-up taped editions, Shawn Michaels returned to in-ring action against King Kong Bundy in a King of the Ring Qualifying match.
2000 – Three title changes happened on WCW Nitro from Biloxi, Mississippi – Kronik (Brian Adams & Brian Clark also known as Adam Bomb & Crush from mid-90s WWF) defeated “The Franchise” Shane Douglas & The Wall for the WCW World Tag Team Titles. Crowbar & Daffney defeated Chris Candido & Tammy for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. And in the main event Ric Flair won his fifteenth World Championship by defeating Jeff Jarrett for the WCW World Championship.
2000 – On the go home edition of WWF Raw before the Judgement Day PPV from Cleveland , Ohio, Chris Benoit defeated The Rock in a non-title Submission match. Also, Crash Holly lost and regained the WWF Hardcore Title from one of The Godfather’s Hos portrayed by Cynthia Lynch.
2001 – In Louisville, Kentucky, in the go home edition of SmackDown before the Judgement Day PPV, Triple H and The Undertaker fought to a no-contest in the main event. This would be Triple H’s last appearance on Smackdown for eight months due to the legitimate quadricep injury which happened six days later on WWF Raw in San Jose.
2004 – At an event in Lexington, Massachusetts, the ROH Tag Team Championship changed hands when The Second City Saints (Colt Cabana and CM Punk) dethroned Jay and Mark Briscoe.
2005 – Jeff Jarrett defeated A.J. Styles for the NWA World Heavyweight Title in the main event of TNA Hard Justice from Orlando, Florida.
2006 – Shelton Benjamin regained the Intercontinental Championship from Rob Van Dam in a Three-on-Two Texas Tornado match. The originally booked match was a WWE Title rematch from Wrestlemania XXII between Triple H and John Cena. However after Triple H’s in ring introduction, Mr McMahon interrupted and changed the match to a handicap match where both the WWE and Intercontinental titles were on the line with Triple H teaming with Chris Masters & Shelton Benjamin versus the titleholders John Cena & RVD.
2007 – WWE release ECW icon Sabu after around a year long run in the promotion.
2011 – At TNA Sacrifice from Orlando, Florida, Sting retained the TNA World Heavyweight Title against Rob Van Dam in the main event. Chyna & Kurt Angle were victorious over Jeff & Karen Jarrett in Chyna’s one and only match in the promotion. Tommy Dreamer pinned A.J. Styles in a No Disqualification match, and Mickie James retained the TNA Knockouts Championship in a Title vs Contract match against Madison Rayne.
