1983 – In Memphis, Tennessee, Nick Bockwinkel defeated Jerry Lawler to win the vacant AWA World Heavyweight Championship – the belt had been vacated the previous month.
1994 – WWF Monday Night RAW celebrated its one-year anniversary in Richmond, Virginia. The opening match saw the 1-2-3 Kid and Marty Jannetty defeat The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) to win the WWF Tag Team Championship.
1998 – ECW presented House Party ’98 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the main event of the show The Sandman defeated Sabu in a Stairway to Hell match. During the bout, Sabu suffered a broken jaw.
1999 – In Kissimmee, Florida, ECW held their PPV ‘Guilty As Charged.’ On the show:
- Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney defeated Danny Doring and Roadkill, and The FBI (Little Guido and Tracy Smothers) in a three-team elimination match.
- Yoshihiro Tajiri defeated Super Crazy.
- Sid defeated John Kronus.
- The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) defeated New Jack and Spike Dudley.
- Rob Van Dam beat Lance Storm to retain the ECW Television Championship.
- Justin Credible defeated Tommy Dreamer in a Stairway To Hell match.
- Taz defeated Shane Douglas by submission to become the ECW World Heavyweight Champion.
2000 – WCW Nitro was in Buffalo, New York, and it would be Bret Hart’s final match as a full-time wrestler due to post-concussion syndrome as a result of a superkick from Goldberg a few weeks earlier. On the show, Hart and Kevin Nash fought to a no contest.
2018 – At an Impact Wrestling taping, Austin Aries defeated Eli Drake to win the Impact Global Title.
2020 – PCW ULTRA Anniversary 2020 was in Wilmington, California. Three title changes happened on the card including:
- Ruby Raze winning the PCW ULTRA Women’s Title from Sumie Sakai.
- Douglas James winning the PCW ULTRA Light Heavyweight Title in a triple threat match against Dom Kubrick and Jake Atlas.
- Hammerstone took the PCW ULTRA Heavyweight Title from Mil Muertes.
