Updated WWE WrestleMania 37 Lineup for April 10/11 – 12 Matches Total Including Seven Title Matches

There was one new match added to the WrestleMania 37 lineup following last night’s edition of Raw. Riddle will defend the United States Championship against Sheamus, who beat Riddle clean in a non-title match on Raw. That’s how WWE often sets up title matches on PPV. It is a repetitive formula that has been going on for decades now.

The other change to the WrestleMania lineup is the announcement that Braun Strowman vs. Shane McMahon will be a Steel Cage Match after Strowman was given the chance to pick the stipulation. Strowman picked a Steel Cage Match to prevent Shane’s buddies Elias and Jackson Ryker from interfering.

That means there are 12 official matches right now with six on each night. There are seven title matches.

It’s very possible that WWE will add at least two more title matches with the Smackdown Tag Team Titles likely on the line in a multi-team match with four teams. The four teams would be champions Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode defending against The Street Profits, Rey & Dominik Mysterio and Chad Gable & Otis.

Plus, the Women’s Tag Team Titles may be on the line with multiple teams as well. That match could see Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax defending the titles against Lana & Naomi, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke and probably Smackdown’s Natalya & Tamina as well. That would put WrestleMania at 14 matches.

There is no indication that there will be a Men’s and Women’s Battle Royal as we have seen in WrestleManias past. Doing those matches will allow more superstars on the card, but it’s not known if the battle royals will take place.
