Updated WWE Royal Rumble Lineup After Smackdown Including US Title Match, Nine Matches Announced So Far

TJR Wrestling

The next WWE pay-per-view is the Royal Rumble on Sunday, January 27 at Chase Field in Phoenix.

Last night on Smackdown, they announced that Rusev will defend the United States Championship against former champion Shinsuke Nakamura. So much for no automatic rematches huh? Anyway, neither guy was on Smackdown, but the match is on. They had a great match on the Christmas Smackdown when Rusev won the title, so if they get time they could do even better.

With nine matches announced including two Royal Rumble matches that will run nearly one hour each in length, some of the matches will be moved to the Kickoff Show.

Here’s the lineup with the names in the Royal Rumble match coming from WWE.com:

30 Man Royal Rumble Match (John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods, Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin, Elias, Jinder Mahal, Jeff Hardy, Bobby Lashley, Andrade, Rey Mysterio, Mustafa Ali, R-Truth at #30) – Finn Balor was originally listed here, but he has been removed since he’s in the Universal Title match.

30 Woman Royal Rumble Match (Natalya, Naomi, Bayley, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Mickie James, Alicia Fox, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Zelina Vega, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Carmella at #30)
