In just under two short weeks the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas will play host to WWE’s ninth annual Night of Champions. As the event gets closer more matches are slowly being announced for the card. The following is an updated lineup for WWE Night of Champions on September 20. As always, the card is subject to change but this is what has been announced so far.

Mark’s reaction
So far there have been only six matches announced, but I expect them to announce more in the coming weeks. It looks like we may get a Ryback vs. Kevin Owens match for the Intercontinental Championship. I also expect to see Randy Orton and Sheamus on the card, just hopefully not facing each other. Please, not again.
As for the matches that have been announced, they all have the potential to be very good and I’m looking forward to mostly all of them. I can do without Ziggler vs. Rusev. The only reason I’m even remotely looking forward to their match is due to the fact that this will likely be the conclusion to a feud that has severely worn out its welcome. It’s time for bigger and better things for both of these performers.
For the first time since WrestleMania we get to see Sting compete again which always peaks my interest. Although the root of this feud has been based around playing hide and seek with a statue, I still think both Sting and Rollins will deliver in the ring when it comes time too.
