Updated Lineups for WWE Evolution (Oct. 28) and Crown Jewel (Nov. 2)

The next two WWE pay-per-view style events will be unique shows because Evolution on October 28 will be a women’s only show while Crown Jewel on November will be for the men only. Both shows will air live on WWE Network and available on demand after that.

Evolution takes place at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York on October 28.

Raw Women’s Championship: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Nikki Bella (w/Brie Bella)

  • It was announced on this week’s Raw after Nikki Bella turned heel with sister Brie Bella after they teamed up with Ronda Rousey to win a tag team match.

Smackdown Women’s Championship in a Last Woman Standing Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

  • Becky Lynch lost by disqualification at Super Show-Down and their Smackdown rematch led to a double countout, so Smackdown GM Paige made it a Last Woman Standing Match. On Smackdown, Paige said it was the “first” Last Woman Standing match in WWE, but they did it in NXT last year with Asuka and Nikki Cross. I guess they were only talking about the main roster.

Trish Stratus and Lita vs. Mickie James and Alexa Bliss

  • This was originally going to be two singles matches, but it changed to a tag team match on Raw. It was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that the plan was always to make it a tag team match, but WWE thought that advertising singles matches would be more interesting.

NXT Women’s Championship: Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler

There will be more matches announced soon. I’m not going to spoil Mae Young Classic matches, so those are the only ones official now.

Crown Jewel takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Friday, November 2.  Here’s the announced lineup so far.

Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman

Triple H and Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker and Kane

WWE Championship: AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan

WWE World Cup Tournament: There are eight competitors. Announced so far: John Cena, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton.

That’s all for now.
