Updated Lineup for WWE Extreme Rules on July 14 – Seven Title Matches Are Official

TJR Wrestling

The next WWE pay-per-view is Extreme Rules, which takes place this Sunday, July 14 in Philadelphia.

The theme of Extreme Rules shows in the past has seen WWE fill the card with different stipulation matches to try to make them stand out from a regular show. What we have this year are two tag team matches with similar stipulations (No Holds Barred and Extreme Rules stipulations are similar) while most of the rest of the lineup features regular matches.

On Raw, they announced Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley in a Last Man Standing match, so at least that will feel different from everything else. The Raw Tag Team Championship match also became official with The Revival set to defend their titles against The Usos.

On Smackdown, we found out who Aleister Black’s opponent will be at Extreme Rules: Cesaro. It’s a fresh matchup featuring two European veterans that should work together very well.

Here’s the lineup.

No Holds Barred Match: Roman Reigns and The Undertaker vs. Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon

Extreme Rules Match for the Universal and Raw Women’s Championships: Seth Rollins (c) and Becky Lynch (c) vs. Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans

WWE Championship: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Samoa Joe

United States Championship: Ricochet (c) vs. AJ Styles

Last Man Standing: Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley

Smackdown Tag Team Championships: Daniel Bryan and Rowan (c) vs. New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) vs. Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis)

Raw Tag Team Championships: The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) (c) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)

Smackdown Women’s Championship Handicap Match: Bayley (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross

Aleister Black vs. Cesaro

Cruiserweight Championship: Drew Gulak (c) vs. Tony Nese

Two other possible matches could be Finn Balor defending the Intercontinental Title against Shinsuke Nakamura and Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler, but neither match is official right now. It’s already a big card, so perhaps they will be pushed back until SummerSlam.

We will have a preview for Extreme Rules posted right here on TJRWrestling on Friday.
