Updated Lineup for WWE Evolution and Crown Jewel Including 8 World Cup Participants

The next two WWE pay-per-view style events are coming up soon with the women’s only Evolution show on October 28 and the men’s only show Crown Jewel on November 2. There were some announcements regarding both shows this week on Raw and Smackdown, so here are the updated lineups.

Here’s the Evolution lineup for October 28 at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York.

Raw Women’s Championship: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Nikki Bella

Smackdown Women’s Championship Last Woman Standing: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair – That’s the main event to me, but WWE may put the Rousey match on last.

Trish Stratus and Lita vs. Mickie James and Alexa Bliss

NXT Women’s Championship: Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler

Battle Royal for a future Championship match – Names include: Nia Jax, Dana Brooke, Alicia Fox, Ember Moon, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Tamina, Asuka, Mandy Rose, Carmella, Lana, Sonya Deville, Naomi and Torrie Wilson

Mae Young Classic Tournament Final – I won’t list the names because that’s a spoiler.

NXT UK Championship Match – I won’t list a spoiler here either.

I assume Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya vs. The Riott Squad will be added as well.

That’s eight matches right there. Since they announced the battle royal with a lot of the other women on the main roster, I think that might be the full card.

Crown Jewel takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Friday, November 2nd. There is controversy surrounding the event, but all indications are that it will take place as scheduled.

Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman

Triple H and Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker and Kane

WWE Championship: AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan

WWE World Cup Tournament: John Cena, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and Rey Mysterio.

The winner of the World Cup Tournament, which features only American wrestlers (Rey Mysterio is from San Diego in case you think he’s from Mexico), will likely win some trophy of some kind although we don’t know if the winner gets a title shot or something like that. No brackets have been announced yet, so maybe we’ll find that out next week on WWE TV.

That may be the whole lineup with WWE opting to set a smaller crew due to the tournament they will be running. By doing an eight-man tournament, that means they will have seven matches in the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals, so it’s a way to get ten matches on the card. If you book a double countout or double DQ finish in a match then that could mean six matches, but it’s likely going to have seven matches.

It’s possible that they will add matches like a Smackdown Tag Team Title match or something like Rusev vs. Aiden English, but for now that’s the lineup.
