Updated AEW Revolution Lineup for Feb. 29 Including Women’s Title Match, Six Official Matches

TJR Wrestling

The next All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view takes place this Saturday, February 29 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. They added two more matches to the card yesterday.

Nyla Rose won the AEW Women’s Title on Dynamite two weeks ago from Riho, who held the title for 133 days. Rose will make a PPV title defense against Kris Statlander, who has impressed in AEW. It’s a bit of a surprise that they wouldn’t have Statlander win a number one contender’s match, but I think she’s a worthy challenger.

Another match was made official when the “AEW Road to Kansas City” video aired that announced Darby Allin will face Sammy Guevara. That has been built up well for a few weeks now, so it makes sense that it is official now.

The lineup looks like this:

AEW World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Jon Moxley

Cody vs. Maxwell Jacob Friedman

AEW Tag Team Championships: Kenny Omega and “Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)

AEW Women’s Championship: Nyla Rose (c) vs. Kris Statlander

Dustin Rhodes vs. Jake Hager

Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara

The last AEW PPV (AEW Full Gear from last November) had seven matches on the main card and one match on the pre-show, so they might add one or two matches to the show during the week.

We will have a preview of AEW Revolution later in the week and I’ll write a live review on Saturday night as well.
