Updated WWE Royal Rumble Lineup After Smackdown & 205 Live – New Title Match Added
This week on Smackdown Live and the post show on Talking Smack, three more names were added to the Royal Rumble match on January 29 at San Antonio’s Alamadome. The three names added are Dean Ambrose and The Miz, who announced their participation during the opening promo of SD Live. On Talking Smack, Dolph Ziggler (wearing a NWO shirt) announced that he was joining the Royal Rumble match as well.

On 205 Live, Rich Swann won a match against Tony Nese. After the match was over, Neville talked some trash towards him and it led to them setting up a Cruiserweight Championship match at the Royal Rumble. It makes sense since Neville has been on a roll and has had a personal rivalry with Swann.

There are 13 names there. I don’t expect WWE to announce the full 30 names because they like to put in a few surprises, but this gives us a good idea of who is in the match. I think the trio of Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper will likely be in the match too. They just aren’t official yet.
WWE Championship: AJ Styles vs. John Cena
WWE Universal Championship: Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns (Note: Chris Jericho will be suspended in a shark cage above the ring.)
Raw Women’s Championship: Charlotte vs. Bayley
WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Rich Swann vs. Neville
It’s a four hour show, so there should be time for a few more matches.
A likely match that should happen is Cesaro/Sheamus vs. Gallows/Anderson for the Raw Tag Team Titles. Natalya vs. Nikki Bella is possible as well.
