TNA Impact Wrestling Pulled Off The Air In Some European Countries

TJR Wrestling

After my article yesterday on how Destination America has pulled the plug on their partnership with TNA (click here to view), things have got even more worse for Dixie Carter and company.

It has been reported on Rajah.com that Impact Wrestling has been pulled from TV schedules in other countries.

DMAX, which is owned by Discovery, will stop showing Impact from October 15th in Germany and Austria. It has already been dropped from Discovery En Espanol, the Discovery owned Eurosport in Romania and Finland.

The show is also off the air in Italy on the Nuvolari network.

Impact

Ski’s Take – Ok, I stand corrected, things CAN get even worse for TNA. As if losing the domestic TV deal was bad, now they’re losing deals worldwide. Dixie saw her worldwide deals as her bread and butter income. The loss of the Germany deal must be especially tough to swallow as Impact was the number 1 rated weekly wrestling programme in the country. I said it yesterday, and I don’t like repeating myself, but this is looking like the death knell for the company. I hope I’m wrong as wrestlers need more places to work and they can’t all work for the WWE’s and RoH’s of the world.
