TNA and Pop TV also tweeted the following about Impact Wrestling’s big move.

Mark’s reaction: Impact Wrestling currently airs on Tuesday nights. However, a major wrench was thrown into that weekly airing night once WWE announced that Smackdown will be going live on Tuesday nights on the USA Network with a separate roster. It was the smart move for TNA to change their weekly airing night, so props to them for doing so. Impact will begin airing on Thursday’s just two days after Smackdown goes live on Tuesday nights on July 19.

If you’re ever in the need for new wrestling content throughout the week, you’ve got more than your fill now that TNA’s moving to Thursdays. Starting July 18: Monday – Raw, Tuesday – Smackdown, Wednesday – NXT/Cruiserweight Classic/Lucha Underground, Thursday – TNA Impact Wrestling and Friday – NJPW. This doesn’t even include the now TWO monthly Raw and Smackdown brand exclusive PPV’s/WWE Network specials that we’ll get on Sunday nights, or ROH, or TNA, ROH and NJPW PPV’s. I know not everyone gets the television stations that air Lucha Underground and NJPW, and that Lucha Underground is seasonal and coming to an end soon, but it’s still pretty crazy to think about.
