This is Episode #27 of the TJR Wrestling Podcast. Hosted by John Canton and Rey Moralde. T.J. Perkins (who also wrestled as Manik in TNA) came on the show to talk about his wrestling career and his participation in the Global Cruiserweight Series coming up this summer on the WWE Network. Also, we preview WWE Payback which includes the highly-anticipated match between Roman Reigns and AJ Styles for the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
I really enjoyed having TJ on the show. He started wrestling when he was a teenager, he worked with some of the best guys ever like Daniel Bryan when they were both starting out, he had a lot of success in TNA Wrestling and now he’s a part of WWE’s Global Cruiserweight Series. In addition to answer the questions that Rey and I asked him, he also took the time to answer some listener questions as well. That was really cool of him. We will definitely have him back on in the future.
We also ended the show with Rey and I doing a full preview of the WWE Payback show for this Sunday. That takes place in the last 30 minutes or so.
This week’s show runs 1 hour and 45 minutes.
