SITE NEWS: TJRWrestling Writer Search - Names of New Writers Joining Our Team

The TJRWrestling writer search is over. One week ago I did a post where I said you had a full week to send something in. I’m happy to say we have added some great writers to our team. I’m excited to bring them aboard and help them along the way.

Let me begin by saying that I appreciate everybody that sent in a sample column or news post. We do pretty well as a site that started from nothing about a decade ago and to know there are dozens of people out there willing to try to get a spot on our team is very humbling to me. If I didn’t start writing on 19 years ago then I don’t know where I’d be right now. You never know where life might take you.

What does this mean for you, the reader? We will have more regular news posts, columns and reviews than we have ever had before. I don’t want to have days with only one or two posts on the site. We’re going to have much more than that on a daily basis. It will also allow me to spend more time writing reviews and blogs about topics on my mind because I know these guys are going to deliver the goods in terms of putting out great content.

All of the writers added to the team have been contacted via email to let them know they are joining us. If you didn’t get the email, I’m sorry. Please don’t hate me. There were dozens of samples sent in and I have to try to base my decision on one piece of writing. It’s hard sometimes to do that. I could be passing on somebody great and I have no idea.

Here are the guys that were chosen to join the team listed in alphabetical order.

Wes Burden
Tom Terzulli

Lance Augustine
Kelly Dishnow
Matthew Fowler
Levi Jenkins
Jim Kress
Alex Podgorski
Jake Thomas (Jake Polites)

That’s nine people. I’m happy with that number. It’s going to take me a day or two to get everybody acclimated and set up with posting accounts, but I think by Wednesday we should be rolling.

The world of wrestling is going to get a lot busier in October with AEW on TNT on Wednesdays along with NXT going to USA Network this Wednesday. I’m not sure how we are going to cover it all, but we’ll do the best we can. Thanks for the support.
